Our courses and the Core Dev Bootcamp curriculum live on the XRPL Academy. Sign in there to follow a journey, or read on for the teaching and research programmes we run alongside it.
Courses and the Core Dev Bootcamp
The Core Dev Bootcamp takes a small group deep into rippled itself —
consensus, cryptography, the application layer, the state model, transactors,
RPC, storage and protocol amendments. The prerequisite modules are completed
online before the in-person days.
Our "Building on the XRP Ledger" trainings introduce the ledger to developers new to it, and run free in Paris and with university partners.

We help educators bring blockchain and the XRP Ledger into their own classrooms, with materials, guest sessions and support.
PhD in blockchain
XRPL Commons partners with universities and research labs expanding the scope of blockchain research. We support a CIFRE PhD contract: a three-year thesis on interoperability in decentralized finance, run jointly with the LIRIS Laboratory at Lyon 1 — Claude Bernard University. XRPL Commons and LIRIS have also worked together on the European CHAISE project on blockchain skills.
We welcome collaborations with universities, research centres and educational initiatives — see UBRI for the university network, or partner with us.
DoctorBlock
DoctorBlock is a science communication contest for doctoral researchers working on blockchain: present your research clearly and convincingly in 180 seconds.
